We are JAMAFEST MUSIC FESTIVAL, an independent indoor music festival formed in 2009 by musician and lifelong Connecticut resident John "Koach" Kochanowski. Since its inception fifteen years ago, JAMAFEST has promoted various events in the Central Connecticut area, tailored to bringing awareness to Childhood Cancer and Autism Awareness, booking some of the areas high-profile talent across numerous genres', some of whom include: Pulse, Diamondback, The Zoo, Metal 101, 1 Wild Night, Evil Empire, Hysteria, The Brat Pack, American Honey, Breathe, and many more.
Save the date! Gather up the family and get ready for the much-anticipated return of JAMAFEST! Connecticut's only indoor music festival rooted in helping kids and their families fight cancer and other life-threatening illnesses. JAMAFEST Music Festival will once again descend upon The Truck Bar centrally located in the central Connecticut town of Berlin this fall for another weekend of rock, country, and alternative excellence!
Home to the largest indoor cornhole court with twelve lanes of cornhole available, the highly recognized Truck Bar remains an ideal spot for a unique all ages festival like this, also boasting a full arcade, pool tables, and Square Peg Pizzeria, The Truck Bar is your one stop spot for a day of entertainment, play time, food and beverage. Positioned directly off Route 72, and Route 5 & 15, driving to the site is a breeze.
But what makes JAMAFEST unique? All the profits raised by "A Night of Hope" benefits St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital in Memphis TN. St. Jude is leading the way the world understands, treats and defeats childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases. Their researchers and doctors work together to turn laboratory breakthroughs into lifesaving treatments for children from across the United States and around the world. And with your support, St. Jude can provide cutting-edge treatments at no cost to families — so they can focus on helping their child live.
JAMAFEST exists to raise critical funds to help in the research, treatment and overall care for children battling catastrophic illnesses. St. Jude relies on contributions from people like us to support their mission of "No Child Should Die in the Dawn of Life" (Danny Thomas). This has enabled them to develop innovative treatments that have taken the overall survival rate of childhood cancer from 20% in 1962 when St. Jude opened its doors, to an overall survival rate of just over 80% today. However, this is nowhere near 100%, so again, that is why we exist. And what better way to support this great cause than a weekend of the area's best musicians, bands and artists rocking out for "A Night of Hope"! Our goal is to unite under the banner of music for one unforgettable weekend of excitement, rocking out, awesome food, cornhole and humanity in its purest form. So, kick off the 2024 holiday season by opening your heart and come rock with the us this November 8th & 9th, 2024!
